The Golden
Resource for Education, Arts, and Theater, Inc. (GREAT), established in
2001, is a non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status which
is dedicated to enhancing, promoting, and enriching the Golden
community's cultural diversity in relation to the cinematic and
performing arts.

Don
Parker
Don Parker
has a BS in Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado in
Boulder, a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering from Johns
Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and a Doctorate in Law from
the University of Denver. He has been self-employed for many years as
a residential property owner and manager. He served on the Jefferson
County Open Space Advisory Committee and Jefferson County Planning
Commission. He is president and a founder of Save the Mesas, Inc., a
group dedicated to enhancing the quality of community life in the
Denver metro area by preserving North and South Table Mountains.
Mary
Parker
Mary
Parker is presently self-employed part-time as a rental property
manager and handy gal. She has previously worked as a graphic artist.
She is involved in local activities, such as the Mesa Music Festival,
and helped found Save the Mesas, Inc.
John
Spear, Ph.D.
John Spear is an assistant professor in
the Environmental Science and Engineering Division at the Colorado
School of Mines. The focus of his research work is environmental
microbiology, where he spends time looking for microbial life in
unique and interesting places. John mentors several graduate
students both at CSM and CU-Boulder; advises young kids and girls
interested in pursuing science; works on different museum exhibits
around the country; and enjoys all of the great things that
Colorado has to offer in terms of outdoor activities.
