The Golden
Resource for Education, Arts, and Theater, Inc. (GREAT), established in
2001, is a non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status which
is dedicated to enhancing, promoting, and enriching the Golden
community's cultural diversity in relation to the cinematic and
performing arts.

Board Members
Sabrina
D'Agosta
Sabrina D’Agosta is the Senior
Communications Officer for The Colorado Trust. Previously, Sabrina was
appointed as Deputy Communications Director for Denver Mayor John
Hickenlooper and served as Communications Manager for the City of
Golden. She worked as an award-winning journalist for seven years,
including as editor of the Golden Transcript. A fifth generation
Coloradan, Sabrina holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications
and M.A. in Political Science. She volunteers with a variety of
nonprofit organizations whose missions support the arts, education,
sustainability, youth, and fighting homelessness. She also serves on the
board of the Academy of Urban Learning.
Tracy Hamm
Tracy Hamm adores being part of the
Golden Community and strives to get involved with any project that
enhances the city creatively; with GREAT being one of the most unique
and special organizations, she is excited to be a new board member!
Tracy is an art teacher at Golden High School, specializing in Digital
Video and Ceramics. She is also a member of the Education Advisory Board
for the Foothills Art Center. In addition to teaching and serving the
community, Tracy is also a professional artist who shows in local
galleries and sells commissioned pottery. As an artist, a teacher, and
an avid outdoor enthusiast, Golden is the perfect compliment to an
active lifestyle, and being part of GREAT is the cherry on top!
Tracy
Evanko
Tracy Evanko is a part-time librarian
and
part-time webmaster. She has
been very involved in the Golden community as a volunteer for the past
nineteen years in various school and community-related activities
supporting education and the arts. She is a member of
Miners Alley Playhouse and Golden High School PTA and a Friend of the
Jefferson County Public Library.
Chris Ferguson
John
Spear, Ph.D.
John Spear is an associate
professor in the Environmental Science and Engineering
Division at the Colorado School of Mines. The focus of
his research work is environmental microbiology, where he
spends time looking for microbial life in unique and
interesting places. John mentors several
graduate students both at CSM and CU-Boulder; advises
young kids and girls interested in pursuing science; works
on different museum exhibits around the country; and
enjoys all of the great things that Colorado has to
offer in terms of outdoor activities.
