The City of Golden and GREAT present "Movies & Music in the Park"
each summer. Prior to each outdoor film, live music will be performed. Families are invited to bring a picnic supper, listen to the music, and settle in for a film under the stars. Music starts at 7:00 p.m. followed by the movie at dusk (around 8:30 p.m.). All take place in Parfet Park at the SE corner of 10th and Washington in Golden.

Movies & Music in the Park Update
The Princess Bride in Lions Park on
August 6
Plans are in the works for an exciting launch to this year's Movies &
Music in the Park series.
The Golden Lions Club will help kick-off the season with its signature
fireworks display. Music, fireworks, and movie will all take place in
the ball field at Lions Park for this special event.
Schedule:
7:00 - 8:45 p.m. Flock of
Beagles
9:00 - 9:30 p.m. Fireworks
display
9:30 - 11:15 p.m. The Princess Bride
Sandwiches, snacks, popcorn, and ice-cream will be available for
purchase, or bring your own picnic dinner. Blankets or low-back chairs
are recommended. Find your spot early!
Dance and relax with 80's band Flock of Beagles. View the spectacular
show in the sky. Then settle in to watch the stars on the giant
inflatable screen.
It'll be a blast!!
Lions Park Ball Fields are
located just a block and a half west of Parfet Park on the south side of
10th Street.
